Melanie Goodyear

Melanie Paulette (Perkins) Goodyear passed away, Friday, May 13, 2016. Melanie was born April 18, 1963, in Murphysboro, Illinois; and resided in Memphis, Tennessee, where she attended school. She moved to Florida in 1989. She attended Faith Chapel Assembly of God, Milton, Florida. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Walter & Vonceil Reames; paternal grandparent, Lavice Smith all of Illinois; and her brother, Brian Lee Roy Perkins. Melanie is survived by her mother, Leandra L Skinner; two brothers, Terry William Perkins & Duane Allen Perkins, of Milton; Elaine Reames Curativo of California, Priscilla Reames Pride of Montana; Melissa Reames Holt of Florida; and Cindy Reames of Godwin, Illinois; uncles, D Reames of Illinois, Stephen D Reames of Illinois, and Stanley W. Reames of Montana; two nieces, Brianna Knight-Perkins & Katelynn Perkins of Florida; one nephew, Brian Joel from Arkansas; and her faithful companion of 13 years “Newbie”. There will be a tribute to her life on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 4:30 p.m., at Faith Chapel Assembly of God, Milton.
