A friend to all and loved by many, Melvin Richard Fuller, Jr., was called to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of Friday, January 22, 2016, at the age of 77. Mel will forever be fondly remembered as a loving devoted father, husband, true friend, and hard-working man. He retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years service; and he retired from the City of Milton as City Parks Director, with 20 years service; and worked at Pensacola Bay Community Transportation. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin R. Fuller, Sr. and Anna Marie Fuller; brother, David Fuller; and his son, Dwain. Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Myrna; daughters, Dawn and Deanne; son, Daryl. He is also survived by and the proud grandfather of, Leslie (Charles), Jillian (Shane), Sara (Andrew), Christopher (Tara), Savanna (Kyle); and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, Emma, Taylor (Christian), Daylin, Alexander, Aydan, Syndilynn, David, Jacob, Daniel, Jacob and Abigail; his sister Mary (Jim); a special niece, Jody; and many other relatives and an abundance of friends. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016, at New Life Baptist Church in Milton. Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., prior to the services.
