Michael Hoey Obituary

Michael Francis Hoey, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2015, at the age of 66. He was born October 15, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, to Owen Paul Hoey and Margaret Hoey. Michael received six medals for his tour in the Vietnam war for service and valor, including the Oak Leaf Cluster, with a V, for heroism, and the army commendation medal, for meritorious service. Michael was a loving father to Christen Marie (Billy) Clark; and a caring "Pappy" to William Albert Clark and Madeleine Jane Clark. He is also survived by two sisters, Margaret Demers and Patricia Heyser; and numerous nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Family Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., and Public Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., prior to the funeral. Burial will follow the services, at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at Barrancas National Cemetery, onboard Pensacola Naval Air Station with full Military Honors.
