Millie Hudson

Millie Jo Hudson passed away on May 26, 2014 and was born in Bagdad, Florida and lived her entire life in Milton, Florida. She worked 25 years for Dr. Max Meredith as Office Manager and Insurance Clerk and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Milton and the Martha Sunday School Class. In 1947 Millie Jo married her high school sweetheart, Doyle Hudson, and they were married for 58 years until his death in 2006. She is preceded in death by her parents, Millege and Bernice Cox; husband, Doyle Hudson; son, Stephen Hudson; mother-in-law, Alma Hudson Bell. She is survived by her "brother"-in-law, Dr. Hugh (Becky) Hudson; her daughters: Susan (Donnie) Holley; Sandra Heath (Doyle Caudell); grandchildren: Jason (Marlene) Holley; Jodi (Rich) Trent; Jennifer Hudson; Jakob (Amanda) Heath; Joey Heath; great-grandchildren: Justin Holley; Brittany, Jadyn and Jake Trent; Brayden and Kinley Heath; Adrian Dunklin and Hassan Williams. She had many faithful friends and neighbors who were so dear to her: Sue Curvin, Georgia Swayne, Lois and Frank Pace, Jackie Pace Belgau and Joe and Foye Nobles. Visitation will be on Friday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. followed by memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home. Private burial will take place at a later time at Milton Cemetery. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church in Milton for the Romanian Mission Trip.
