Myrtice Louise Crews Obituary

Myrtice Crews, 88 years of age, of Baker, Fl., peacefully passed from her earthly life to eternal rest and celebration with her Saviour, Jesus Christ, in Milton, Fl on January 1, 2016.




Mrs. Crews was a homemaker and had been employed with civil service for a few years. She was a member of Blackwater Baptist Church and had led a women's Bible study. She loved to study the Bible, and had read through the Bible several times.


Mrs. Crews was preceded in death by her husband, Quinnie Crews; parents, Charlie Williams and Rosie Johnson; sister, Marie Hardee; and son- in-law, Gary Todd.


Mrs. Crews is survived by daughters and spouses, Carmen and Jim Lundy of Baker, FL., Carolyn and Craig Bermes of Everett, WA., and Doris Crews of Milton, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jason and Randall Todd, Adrian Cadenhead, Ashley Bermes and Karen Lawhon; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Blackwater Baptist Church (11689 Munson Highway, Milton, Fl. 32570.) Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m.


Burial will follow services in Harmony Cemetery in the Allentown Community. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Blackwater Baptist Church's building fund.
