In Loving Memory "Maw-Maw" "Big Momma" Myrtle Lee Pugh 1935-2017 Myrtle L. Pugh, 82, of Milton, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born in Appleton, Alabama, and had resided in Milton most of her adult life. She was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother that enjoyed spending countless hours working in her beautiful yard with her dear friend Charles. She was a proud graduate of W.S. Neal High School in Brewton, Alabama, and a member of The Community of Christ Church in Milton. Her loving spirit and fearless courage will live on in the hearts of the many lives that she touched and will never be forgotten. She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Paul (Sheila) and Paula (Kayleah); three grandchildren, Fisher, Gunner, and Carys; three sisters, Peggy, Betty, and Helen; and many other friends and relatives. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Wayne and Angie Blocker and Jim Markham officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff of Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital for the tireless love and care given to their Mother, ensuring her journey home was as pleasant as possible. One of her final wishes were that no flowers be sent. Instead, she would greatly appreciate a donation be made to a charity of your choice, or to Covenant Hospice.
