Narvie Lee “N.L.” Golden, 95, of Jay, Florida, passed away, Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
Narvie Lee was born in Pollard, Alabama, and was a native and life-long resident of Jay, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Daniel and Bertha Mae (Odom) Golden; one grandson, Samuel M. Lansdon, II; one great-great-grandchild, Angel Kate Cooper; and two brothers, Jamie Daniel Golden and Jesse Lee Golden.
Narvie Lee is survived by his wife of 75 years, Mildred Louise (Hendricks) Golden; four daughters, Joyce (Samuel) Lansdon, Rebecca (James) Parkerson, Melanie (Marty Vaughn) Golden, and Robin Golden; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Preston (Eunice) Golden and Alton Ray (Peggy) Golden; and one sister, Gladys Golden Rowell.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Golden Memorial Holiness Church, in Dixonville/Jay, Florida, with Rev. Philip Deane, Rev. Davin Burnett and Rev. Wilbur Graves officiating; and his great-grandchildren singing. Burial will follow services in the Golden Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing.
Visitation will be held 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., prior to the service.
