Neal "Buddy" Faulk, Jr., age 86 of Pace, FL, passed on Monday, Oct.1, 2012. Mr. Faulk was born on Feb. 16, 1926 in Brewton, Alabama to the late Neal and Ola Mae Faulk. He was a premature baby that was not suppose to live, but out lived all his siblings. He was working at NAS Pensacola, driving a laundry truck when he met his wife. They operated the Fish Camp at Simpson River for 4 years before moving back to Woodbine Road. He was a construction worker most of his life, but enjoyed fishing and gardening as a hobby. Mr. Faulk is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Geraldine "Jerry" Nichols Faulk; his son, Michael Everett Faulk; siblings, Irene Coffey, Ruby Morgan, Leola Faulk, Flossie Elliott, Princess Cotton, John Faulk, Fred Faulk, Grace Copeland, and his beloved companion of 17 years, Scottie. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Hall; grandchildren , Phyllis (Leo) Rodriguez and Stephen (Amy) Lester; great grandsons, Alex Brandon and Jeffrey Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Gail (J.C.) Silcox; brother-in-law, Pete (Helen) Nichols; special friend, Edward Kritzmire; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel with Rev. Chip Fox, officiating. Burial to follow in the Berrydale R.L.D.S. Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-7p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
