Olive Underwood

Olive Nelma McLin Underwood, 89, Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 20, 2013. Visitation will be held on Friday 27, 2013 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana from 5-9PM. Graveside services will be held at The Old Red Oak Cemetery in Livingston, Louisiana on Saturday 28, 2013 at 9:00AM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Olive was born in Doyle, Louisiana on August 31, 1924. She graduated from Denham Springs High School in Denham Springs, Louisiana. She was married to George R. Underwood on July 5, 1947; they were married 52 years. Olive is survived by her four children: Walter, his two children Alex and Evan; George and wife, Laura, his two children Tasha and Tanya; Daniel, his daughter Stephanie; John and his wife, Luauana, their son Avery; and her brother Lee McLin, his two children Monica and John. She is also survived by five great grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Olivia, Lani, Paiton, Mason and Morgan. Olive is preceded in death by her husband, George R. Underwood; her parents, John Thomas McLin and Ellen G. Martin; brothers, Charles M. McLin and Louis A. McLin; sisters, Eva McLin, Lula McLin, Katy McLin, Lela McLin and Geraldine McLin Clark. The family of Olive Underwood would like to thank the nursing staff at Bay Breeze Nursing Home and Emerald Coast Hospice as well as Mary Esther Church of God.
