Pablo Falcon, Sr., age 86, of Chumuckla, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence. He is now in his eternal home, reunited with all other family and friends who have gone before him. Pablo was preceded in death by his beloved parents; Ramon Gonzalez and Anita Alvarez Gonzalez. He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife of 49 years, Judy C. Hunt Falcon; two daughters Melony (Darrell) Hille, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Starlet Wilkinson, Tallahassee, Florida; a son, Pablito Falcon, Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Keitha Hunt, Navarre Beach, Florida; one brother-in-law Douglas (Jeanne) Hunt, Jr., Biloxi, Mississippi; six brothers and sisters; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends. Pablo immigrated from Cuba in 1961, and met his lovely wife at the Santa Rosa Hospital, where they both were employed. He received American Citizenship in 1975. Pablo retired from the Holiday Inn, Navarre Beach, Florida, in 1994, as the Executive Chef, for seventeen years. He served as a lay speaker for six years at Elizabeth Chapel Methodist Church. Pablo was a dedicated Christian, husband, father and grandfather. He loved his church family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. Keitha and Douglas Hunt would like to publicly express their thanks for the unconditional love and dedication that Pablo devoted to our beloved sister Judy. The family would like to offer a very special thanks to Pablo’s dear church family and friends. Their compassion and good deeds are so much appreciated by the family. The family would also like to express our thanks to the nursing staff at Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence for their special care of Pablo during his last few weeks on this earth. Your compassionate attitude made life brighter during a time that could have been darker. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 21, 2015, from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Chumuckla Community Church (8008 Chumuckla Highway, Pace, Florida). The service to celebrate Pablo’s life will be held at the church at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Tom Sharron and Pastor Donald Leavins officiating. Pallbearers will be members from the Chumuckla Community Church Senior Sunday School Class. Burial will follow at the Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.
