Paul Ralph Phillips, 69 of Milton, Florida, born in Kingston, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Santa Rosa Medical Center. Paul enlisted in the United States Air Force in April of 1970 and retired in May 1990 as a MSgt. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Carl G. Phillips and Mayme Ruth (Sherwood) Phillips; two brothers, George F. Phillips and William H. Phillips, Sr.; and his sister, Carlene Williams. Paul is survived by his wife, Rose Maudlin Phillips; four sisters, Mayme Beason, Shelia Schmitz, Sharon Christiansen and Betty Zeller; two brothers, Jack Phillips and Everett Phillips; and many nieces, nephews and family members. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at First Apostolic Church of Milton, with Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2020, with Air Force Honors, at Barrancas National Cemetery, onboard Pensacola Naval Air Station. Please meet the family at 1:30 p.m., in the parking lot of Olive Baptist Church Warrington Campus (103 W. Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32507.) We will leave the church parking lot promptly at 1:50 p.m., to travel to the base together. Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., prior to the services.
