Paul R. Welch, 76, of Milton, Florida, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. Paul was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the AMVETS and the VFW. He loved spending time with his family, reading, fishing, gardening, sitting on his front porch, playing poker with his friends, helping others any way he could, and being involved in any functions that the AMVETS or VFW put on for veterans and their families. He loved his family dearly and he will be missed!! He is survived by his wife, Marilyn G. Welch, two step-daughters, Becky Wright and Rina Couperthwaite; two step-sons, Keith and Kraig Sorrell; twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., prior to the service.
