Pauline Edgar

Pauline Z. Cunningham Edgar, 93, of Milton, passed in the early morning of September 9, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Edgar was born in Pike, WV on November 9, 1919. She graduated from Pensboro High School and attended a nursing school in Marietta, OH. After completion of nursing school, Mrs. Edgar met her husband of 65 years. Pauline was a nurse, homemaker, a Realtor, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Milton, FL. Mrs. Edgar was preceded in death by her husband, Randall T. Edgar, her parents Benjamin E. and Lura D. Cunningham, brother Malcolm B. Cunningham, sister Lucille Pannell, and brother-in-law Carlos Pannell. She is survived by her children, James R. (Karen) Edgar and Mary (Howard) Galarza; grandchildren, Randy (Lindsey) Edgar, Nina (Rich) Hobby, James (Charlsey) Edgar, and Jessica Edgar; great-grandchildren Haley, Scott, Logan, Easton, and Gracie; Sister-in-laws Mary Hall, Winona Zielke and Cornelia Cunningham; Brother-in-law Howard Edgar; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice and give a special thanks to caregivers Betty, Michelle, and Jeremy. And a special thanks to family friend Teresa Robinson. Funeral services for Mrs. Edgar will be held Friday, September 13, with Rev. M. Kathryn Knight, Pastor at the First United Methodist Church of Milton, FL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM, funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens with Lewis Funeral Home directing. Active pallbearers will be Randy Edgar, James Edgar, Rich Hobby, Scott Rowlett, Lee Diehl, and Tommy Reeves. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Edgar's memory to the First United Methodist Church elevator and building fund or to the Alzheimer's Research fund.
