Peyton Young Reinhart passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 3, 2017, with her loving husband, Gary Reinhart, by her side. She was born February 27, 1955, outside of Paris, France, to Nathaniel Young, former Mayor of Fairfax City, and Sarah Young, while her father was serving in the United States Air Force. After moving around to several military bases her father retired to Fairfax, Virginia, where she spent most of her childhood and ultimately graduated Fairfax High School in 1972. Peyton’s life has been spent being a wonderful and loving wife to her husband, Gary Reinhart, for nearly 36 years. She is survived her husband, Gary; her son, Larry, his wife Melissa, and their children Samantha and Evan of Atlanta, Georgia; her daughter, Alexandra, her husband Marshall, and their children Adalynn and Jackson, of Chumuckla, Florida; as well as, her sisters, Ann Noulis of Fairfax Station, Virginia; Sarah McDaniel of Tallahassee, Florida; and, Mary “Cookie” Martin of Tallahassee, Florida. Peyton will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and wonderful laugh; the love of her dogs, Hunter, Trigger, Panda, and TJ; her generosity to those she never knew when she and her husband loaded up a U-Haul truck to deliver desperately needed supplies to Biloxi, Mississippi, following Hurricane Katrina; her unwavering support for the wives, mothers, and families of fellow Navy families while her husband served as an aviator on active duty; and, for the love and friendship she gave to so many people who touched her life. Peyton Reinhart will always be deeply loved and greatly missed by her family and many friends. Visitation was held at Demaine Funeral Home – Fairfax (10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030), on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Local visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel (4777 West Spencer Field Road, Pace, FL 32571) followed by Graveside Services at 2:00 p.m., in Barrancas National Cemetery, onboard Pensacola Naval Air Station, with Bishop Charles Morley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made in her name to Pet Caring Foundation c/o Pender Veterinary Clinic Center (4001 Legato Rd, Fairfax, Va. 22033); or to The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (4217 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060).
