Ralph William Curtis, Sr., 86, of Milton, died Friday, June 3, 2016. Ralph was born May 30, 1930, in Denver Colorado, to Roy Thomas and Evelyn Christine (Kohn) Curtis. He was a Boilermaker in the Navy, retiring after 20 years of service, and worked in Civil Service at a number of our local bases. He was a hard working and very giving man. He loved to travel in his motorhome and take his family on vacations. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jean Lou (Jackson) Curtis; son, Ralph Curtis Jr.; two brothers, Ronnie Curtis and Raymond Curtis; and granddaughter, Shanna Marie Curtis. Ralph is survived by his wife, Linda (Weekley) Curtis; daughter, Kay Stafford; four grandchildren, Ralph Curtis III, Holly Miller, Tonya Walters and David Stafford Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren, Kaylee Scarboro, Rachael Walters, Ricky Miller, Jacob Herrmann, Paul Herrman III, Vanesha Vassor, Vantashia Vassor, Jasmine Marie Curtis, and Skylar Stafford. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Donald Leavins officiating. Burial will follow services at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors.
