Robert "Ray" Fendley died Wednesday, November4, 2015, of natural causes at his residence .<br><br>Ray was born in Andalusia, Alabama, on June 11,1947, and currently resided in Milton, Florida. Robert Ray was the oldest son of James R. Fendley and Margaret Brook Fendley, all natives of Andalusia, but lived all over the world when his father was in the Air Force. <br><br>Ray Fendley graduated from the Andalusia High School class of 1965. He was in the National Guard, was awarded a honorable discharge from the Air Force, and retired after 38 years of work from Monsanto in Pensacola. He was a pilot, loved to fly, and had many cherished friends and family in Andalusia. <br><br>He leaves behind one daughter, Jennifer Fendley Salter; son-in-law, Matthew Salter; one grandson, Caden Salter; and one nephew, Christopher Fendley. <br><br>Visitation will be held at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton, Florida, on Thursday, November 12, 2015; with viewing for family beginning at 10:00 a.m.; and friends from 10:30 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., November 12, 2015, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola NAS. <br><br>The family asks that you kindly, in lieu of flowers, to please make memorial donations to Lewis Funeral Home, for Ray Fendley's service expenses. <br><br>Lewis Funeral Home<br>6405 Hwy. 90 West<br>Milton, Florida 32570<br><br>Credit card donations may be made by phone at 850.623.2243<br>

Robert "Ray" Fendley died Wednesday, November4, 2015, of natural causes at his residence .

Ray was born in Andalusia, Alabama, on June 11,1947, and currently resided in Milton, Florida. Robert Ray was the oldest son of James R. Fendley and Margaret Brook Fendley, all natives of Andalusia, but lived all over the world when his father was in the Air Force.

Ray Fendley graduated from the Andalusia High School class of 1965.
