Robert Rollo

Robert Nolan “Bob” Rollo, of Milton, Florida, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017, at the age of 79. Bob was a member of Avalon Baptist Church, a former County Commissioner for Santa Rosa County, and served in the United States Army. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary Esma Rollo and William J. Rollo; and his brother, Clinton Tyrone Rollo. Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lola (nee Broxson); children, Judy Lee Rollo, Mary June Weinmann, Robert Michael (Betty) Rollo, Sara Janelle (Timothy) Binns, and William Joseph “Bill” Rollo; grandchildren, Joseph (Jen) Rollo, Jordan Weinmann, David Rollo, Jason (Jamie) Rollo, Jonathan (Stephanie) Binns, Zachary Weinmann, Seth Weinmann, Ashley Binns, and Aaron Binns. He will be remembered by his great-grandchildren, Makaylah McCleery, Aadyn Hardy, Nolan Rollo, Addison Binns, Gavin Rollo, and Hunter Rollo. He is also survived by, his brother, William Richard (Gloria) Rollo; sister, Linda Lee (Eddie) Smith; and sister-in-law, Shirley Rollo. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Avalon Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Avalon Baptist Church, with Rev. George Dunn, Rev. Timothy Binns and Rev. Matt Cotton officiating. Burial will follow services at the family plot in Hickory Hammock Community Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home in Milton directing. The family requests memorial donations, in memory of Bob, may be made to The Gideons International or to Covenant Care Hospice.
