Ronald Tong

Ronald James Tong, 69, of Milton, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. Ronald was a native of, El Cerrito, California, and was the first of four children born to the late Tony and Clara Tong. He was a graduate of El Cerrito High School with some college education and a U.S. Navy Chief Storekeeper, retired. He was a retired Cooper Tire employee as well as a retired Seafarer’s Union employee. He was predeceased by his parents, Tony and Clara Tong, and his niece, Angela Bernard. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Theresa Marie Tong, of Milton, Florida; a son, Ronald (Andrea) Tong, Jr.; a son, Edward (Meta) Tong; a daughter, Sandra (Andy) Pan; a son, Daniel (Christina) Tong; a son, Travis Tong; a son, Trevor Tong; ten grandchildren: David, Nina, Ashley, Ethan, Evan, Emily, Leean, Brandyn, Silas and Kaiah; a brother, Richard (Karen) Tong; a sister, Gloria (Jon) Cook; and a sister, Patricia Maenza. Funeral services for Ronald Tong will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Mike Poston, officiating. Military Honors to follow the service. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2015, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton. Donations may be made to VFW Post 4833, 5918 Carroll Road, Milton, Florida, 32570.
