MSgt Stanley D. “Stan” Bryant USAF (Ret.), 73, of Pensacola/Milton, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Stan was born July 4, 1945, in Benoit, Mississippi, to the late Bill Woodrow Bryant and Gladys Haney Bryant. Stan honorably served our country for 20 years in the US Air Force. He was a graduate of Lula Rich High School and had an avid love for all sports and was a talented athlete, but basketball was his biggest passion and he spent over 48 years on the court as a referee. Stan was a dedicated insurance agent always looking out for his customers. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Ralph Bryant. Stan is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jerri L. Bryant; three daughters, Shea Bryant (Taylor) Garrett, Kelli Bryant (Jose) Soler, and Kari Bryant (Doug) White; two sons, Aaron McLemore and Kevin McLemore; a brother, Robert Allen (Teresa) Weldon; and three sisters, Martha Bryant Scalzitti, Marie Weldon (Jimmy) Tinnin, and Mary Weldon (Mike) Williamson; and six grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at a date and time to be determined, at Barrancas National Cemetery, with full military honors, and Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing.
