Steve Leonard Obituary

Steve Allen Leonard, 57 years old, of Century, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019. Steve was born December 22, 1961, in Pensacola, Florida, Berman F. Leonard Sr. and Carrie J. (Jackson) Leonard. While working on the production line for Ascend, Steve met Billie, and they were married April 8, 1993. Steve loved to fish and tinker on stuff. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Billie; their favorite place to visit was Tennessee. One of his favorite places to fish was Steve’s Catfish Farm, where he spent most of his time with his great-grandson, Matthew Emmons. Steve and Matthew were always together. Steve loved working on puzzles with his brother Mike Leonard. He enjoyed the best things in life and although he was not a man of many words he showed his love with the time he spent with loved ones, he will be dearly missed. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Berman Franklin Leonard; his mother, Carrie Jane Leonard; his wife, Billie Elaine Leonard; and his brother, Michael Wayne “Mike” Leonard. Steve is survived by a sister, Regina (Jeff) Ogden; his niece, Stacy (Blake) Milligan; and two nephews, Curtis Ogden and Willie Hadley. Steve is also survived by his daughter, Victoria Robertson; grandchildren, Samantha (Daniel) Mitchell, and Bud Robertson; great-grandchildren, Matthew Emmons, Piper Mitchell, Tristan Mitchell, and Carter Robertson. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. Steve will be laid to rest beside his brother Mike, at a later date, in Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.
