Syble Gann, 88, of Milton, died Monday, May 30, 2016, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
Syble was born January 9, 1928, a native or North Alabama; and had resided in Milton, Florida, since 1958. She was a member of Ferris Hill Baptist Church in Milton and a member of the Winsome Sunday School Class.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Bell Stone, and her father, James Allen Stone, both of Dutton, Alabama; her husband, Wayne E. Gann of Milton; her brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Ruby Stone of Pisgah, Alabama; her brother, L.D. Stone of Dutton, Alabama; and her nephew, Lavonne Battles of Rainsville, Alabama.
Syble is survived by her son, Larry (Linda) Gann of Milton, Florida; one granddaughter, Larinda (Scott) Moore, of Mobile, Alabama; two nephews, Arlon (Betty) Battles, of Trenton, Georgia, and Ricky Stone, of Scottsboro, Alabama; and four nieces, Linda Thrower, of Pisgah, Alabama, Myrna Johnson, of Huntsville, Alabama, Ann (Larry) Mitchell, of Rainesville, Alabama, and Trina (Charles) Pollard, of LasCruces, New Mexico.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
