Syble Parker

Syble V. Gallops Poss Parker, 87, of Pace, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Mrs. Parker was born in Andalusia, Alabama, the ninth child to William A. Gallops and Tollie Benbow Gallops. She resided in the Pace area for most of her life. She was a member of the Floridatown Baptist Church. Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Poss and Don Parker. She is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Rusty) Dunn of Pensacola; a son, Stan Poss of Mississippi; Special Friend, Kathy Ramey of Mississippi; and a grandson, William Poss, Jr. of Mississippi. Funeral Services for Mrs. Parker will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, with Rev. Joel Hunt, Pastor of Floridatown Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, prior to services.
