Terence McDonald Obituary

Terence Craig McDonald “made the world a more beautiful place.” He passed away on February 17, 2015, at the age of 71. He was a resident of Pace, Florida. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 29, 1943. He was born to the late Iva Alta and Ronald Frank McDonald, and was raised in the Lutheran faith. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a floriculture and entomology degree. He worked in the wholesale and retail horticulture industry until his retirement. He loved gardening, fishing, home projects, road trips, animals, warm sunny days and red plaid flannel shirts. He was always helpful to everyone and could make people laugh. Most of all, he loved his family and prayed for all of them every day. He is predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Lorraine. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ella; their son, Craig McDonald (Dan Catanzaro); their son, Michael McDonald (Blanca); their son, Steven McDonald (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Dylan, Johnny and Alan; his brother, Bruce McDonald (Deborah); sister Karen McDonald; sister Margery Lanigan; and nephews and nieces, Clifford Moore, Linda Moore, Mitchell Moore, Debora Yarborough, James Lanigan, Jeff McDonald, Jennifer McDonald Ford, Brian McDonald and their families. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at Pace Community Church (4310 Spencer Field Road, Pace, FL 35271). Lewis Funeral Home, Pace, has been entrusted with arrangements. Donations may be made to Pace Community Church Youth Group.
