Terry Ellen Morris, 61, of Pace, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019. Terry was born November 24, 1958, in Camarillo, California. She was the middle child born to Wayne Gowin and Nadine Hodge Alexander. Terry graduated from Milton High School in 1977. She was preceded in death by Wayne Gowin, William Alexander, William and Manda Hodge and Richard and Irene Sparks. Terry is survived by her husband of 31 years, Eddie Wayne Morris of Pace, Florida; son, Nathaniel Hunt; daughter, Kaleisha (Brian) Scott of Pace, Florida; five grandchildren; one older sister, Debra (William) Carpenter; one younger brother, Robert (Victoria) Gowin; four nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and great-nephews, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Edna) Morris of Pace, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Agadine (David) Oglesby, and Kathleen Morris; and one brother-in-law, Quenton Morris. Funeral services for Terry Morris will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel (6405 Hwy 90 West, Milton, FL. 32570), with Rev. Fred Rogers officiating. Burial will follow services in Elam Cemetery, Wing, Alabama. Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the staff of Regency Hospice, especially Terry’s sweet nurse, Tame Ritchie, and Dr. Alshazley, of Santa Rosa Medical Center, for the love and care given to their wife, mother, sister, daughter, and aunt during her time of illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made, in Terry’s name, to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or any local animal shelter.
