Thomas Landreth

Thomas Dorral Landreth, Jr., died peacefully in Holley, Florida, at the age of 79, on July 11, 2017. Tom was born on October 21, 1937, in Joplin, Missouri, to Thomas and Letha Landreth. He graduated from Picher High School in 1954 and spent the next twelve years in the US Air Force. He married Peggy Broxson in 1956 after moving to Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The couple welcomed six children into their home. They also welcomed five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Tom was an accomplished aircraft mechanic serving as part of the US Air Force Strategic Air Command and later as a civilian employee of the US government at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Tom gladly served his country for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Amelia Broxson Landreth; and both parents, Thomas Dorral Landreth Sr. and Letha Eugenia Higgins Landreth. He is survived by his children, Rick Landreth, Mike Landreth, Tim Landreth, Magan Holden, Trisha Hamilton, and Jake Landreth; and his sister, Jerry Cox. Visitation for Tom will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., July 17, 2017, at Lewis Funeral Home Navarre Chapel. Tom will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m., on July 17, 2017, at the Holley Point Cemetery in Holley, Florida.
