Thomas Earl Emmons, age 67, of Milton, Florida, went to heaven on Wednesday, December 23, 2015.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marie Emmons; and a brother, Larry Emmons.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Shirley Ann Emmons; a daughter, Shannon Marie Emmons; step-daughter, Sheila Marie Ramer of Milton; two step-sons, Don Ramer and Paul Ramer of Milton; sister, Gwen Cole of O'Fallon, Missouri; niece, Jennifer and one nephew Jeremy Henrick of Missouri; niece, Michelle “Baby Girl” and her husband, Gary Snider, of Grovetown, Georgia; niece, Denise and her husband, Doug McClure, of Marietta, Georgia; nephews, Raymond and Adam Emmons, both of Augusta, Georgia; and nephew, Keith Emmons of Orlando, Florida.

Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements.
