Thomas Clayton Weeks, “Horsefly”, 85 of Milton Florida went home to be with the Lord, in his sleep, Wednesday, April 8th, 2020. Tom was a native of Alachua, Florida, and was born to the late Clayton Ashley Weeks and Esther Fischer Weeks. Tom was a US Navy Veteran and a retired American Cyanamid employee of 30 years. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Loye Faye Weeks. Tom is survived by a son, Rocky (Betty) Weeks of Cabot, Arkansas; a daughter, Ina (David) Hart of Allentown, Florida; a daughter, Sonia (Rodney) James of Milton, Florida; six grandchildren, Clayton Weeks, Jeremy Hart, Jessica Hart, Haley Hall, Holly Tyree and Dakotah James; six great-grandchildren, James Hart, Sofie Weeks, Trae McLain, Hudson Tyree, Toby James, Kyler Hall; two sisters, Ida Clemons and Margaret Keene; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a private viewing and graveside service for the immediate family with Pastor Carl Gallups officiating, and Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing. The family wishes to thank the staff of Victorian Manor and Pruitt Healthcare for the love and care given to their father and brother during his last, golden years. “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new”. Revelation 21:4-5
