Charles Thomas “Tommy” Garrett, 41, of Milton, Florida, passed away in his sleep, Monday, April 20, 2020. He was a native of Milton. He was the baby of two children born to Charles and Joy Garrett. Tommy was a Milton High School graduate from the Class of 1997, and had an AA degree from Pensacola Junior College. Tommy was a Service Manager at Lowe’s Home Improvement in Gulf Breeze. He loved football of any kind and was a diehard Florida Gator fan. Tommy is survived by his parents, Charles and Joy Garrett, of Milton, Florida; his sister, Chellie (Burt) Allen, of Milton, Florida; a son, Caden Garrett, of Cantonment, Florida; his girlfriend and mother of his unborn son, Taryn Sego, of Navarre, Florida; his niece and nephew that he was so proud of, Ashley and Garrett Allen, both of Milton, Florida; and a host of aunt, uncles, and cousins. Due to the Coronavirus, a viewing of immediate family only will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, April 26, 2000, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel; followed by a Graveside Service to be held at 12:00 p.m., at Crain Cemetery on Trinity Church Road in Milton. Immediate family members will be in attendance; however, if friends and other family members would like to watch from a distance that is fine and can come pay your respects as others leave.
