Verald Murray

Verald Harden Murray, Jr., 75, died in his home, Monday, June 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Verald Harden Murray, Sr.; mother, Mary Francis Murray; and his aunt and uncle, Carl and Ruth Bracket. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Murray; his children, Brian Murray, Bill Teuber, Sandy Thurston, and Kenneth, Steven, David and Douglas Fogie; his sister, Vicki Murray Gibson and family; his brother, Mark Murray and family; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for family and 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for the public, prior to the service. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace, Florida, with Rev. Mike Poston officiating. The Murray family will receive friends and family, at their home, following the service. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2018, at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice for the love, care and compassion given to their husband, father, and brother, during his time of illness. The family wishes that memorial donations be made, in Russ’ name, to Emerald Coast Hospice of Milton, Hadji Temple Children’s Fund of Pensacola, or the Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
