Viola Majors Milton, Florida Obituary

Viola Majors

Viola Jane Majors, 63, of Milton went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, and walk the Streets of Gold, on Saturday, November 16, 2013. Jane was born in Panama City, Florida and had lived in Milton most all of her life. She was retired from the Santa Rosa County School Board with over 35 years of service. Jane worked in the school lunch rooms, and loved serving every one of “her kids”. She retired at W. H. Rhodes Elementary. She was a member of Pace Assembly of God Church. Faithful and Selfless, are only a few words that can start to define “Our Jane”. Jane is preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Brake Majors; her father, Jack Majors; and a cousin, who was like her son, Carl “Little Carl” Coleman, III. She is survived by so many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, that are too many to mention; and her two sweet furry angels – Bob and Chloe. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Lewis Funeral Home in Milton with Rev. Glyn Lowery, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Friday, prior to services.
