Walter Bostic Obituary

Walter Dean Bostic, 79, of Chumuckla departed Sunday April 6, 2014 in his home. Walter was born in Campbells Creek West Virginia, graduated from DuPont High School. He entered the United States Navy in 1954, with assignments including, the USS Randolph, USS Constellation, USS Guam, USS Franklin Roosevelt, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1975. He retired from civil service in 1995 and moved to Chumuckla in 1996. He was a member of the Chumuckla United Methodist Church and past president of the Oriental Band, Haiji Shrine Temple. Preceded in Death by his parents, David and Willie Bostic, and his first wife, Patricia Ann Bostic He is survived by his Wife Gail Bostic, Son’s Robert Dean, Ronald Nelson and Franklin Deaune Bostic, Gail’s family Dan and Cathy Davis, Chuck and Laura Davis, Elaine Joseph Grand Children, Kristoffer Robert Bostic, Meghan Wagoner, Alexander Bostic, Nicholas Bostic, Joshua Bostic, Jordan Bostic and Tristan Bostic, Heather Barrow, Robbie Davis, Chris Davis, Dustin Hearn, Elvin Hearn, Mitch Brent, Mathew Joseph Great Grand Children, Ringo Wagoner, Tommy Wagoner, Allison Carter, Morgan Barrow, Ryland Hearn Visitations will be offered at 10AM on April 9th with memorial service to follow. Plans are being made for interment at sea by the United States Navy at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a a donation to the Chumuckla Community Church, 8008 Chumuckla Highway, Pace FL 32571 We would like ,as a family, to express our profound thanks for the Nurses and staff at Emerald Coast Hospice for their care, love and understanding of our father and our family in during this journey.
