William Robert Rucker, son of Robert C. Rucker and Irene Johnson, passed away June 13, 2014, age 79 years. He was born in the Pine Level community south of Jay in 1935 and graduated from Milton High School in 1953. In 1956 he married his high school sweetheart, Shirley June Fortune. William Rucker worked at the Pensacola Naval Air Station for 30 year as an aircraft electrician and quality assurance manager. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, who passed away in October of 2013. He is survived by his son, Brian Rucker, daughter-in-law, Amy May Rucker, and his grandson, Noah Rucker.
