William “Robin” Lowery, 56, of Pace, Florida, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018.
Robin was born and raised in Pace, he took great pride in being a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County. After graduating from Pace High School he worked many years in the maintenance department at West Florida Community Care Center in Milton. He was a well-known area scrap-metal collector. Robin never referred to his scrap-metal as “junk” but fondly called it “Robin’s Treasures.”
He loved people and never met a stranger – only friends he hadn’t met.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Acy and Illa Louise “Lou” Lowery” of Chumuckla; and his beloved mother, Dorothy “Dot” Louise Lowery of Pace.
Robin is survived by his wife of 22years, Rhonda Hall Lowery of Pace; his stepson, Christopher (Megan) Horn of Pace; his father, W.A. Lowery of Pace; a sister, Rena (John) Barnes of Munson; nephew, Johnny Barnes of Milton; a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; step-granddaughter, Addison Blake of Milton; great-nephew, Caden Barnes of Pace; and great-niece, Kierstyn Barnes of Pace.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel. Burial will follow services at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery, Chumuckla.
Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
PALLBEARERS: Chris Horn, John and Johnny Barnes, Herman Hudson, Bradley Stoltman and “Little Michael” Lowery.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: D.C. Thompson, Don Ragland, Harry Bass and W.C. Lowery.
