William Grady McLellan 1925-2011 Surrounded by his family, William (Bill) McLellan left this world on August 14, 2011 to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, and to be reunited with his son, Mike and wife, Louise . Mr. McLellan was a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa county, graduating from Milton High School in 1943. Bill was the loving husband to Louise McLellan for 62 years. He was a loving father to Mike and Pat, and the loving Grandpa to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill served 22 years in the United States Air Force. He retired in 1965 and went to work for the United States Civil Service for 10 years. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Milton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Abbie McLellan, his wife Donna Louise McLellan and his son Mike McLellan. Mr. McLellan is survived by his son, Pat (Teresa) McLellan, of Gulf Breeze; seven grand children, Ryan (Kelly) McLellan, Tiffany (Jason ) Baird, Melissa (Ben) Greene, Heather (Jimmy) Cleary, Brittney (Kellan) Cannon, Christa (Mark) Walker, Lindsey (David) Karasek; ten great grand children, Gray, Willa, Dalton, Jordan, Hutch, Peyton, Noah, Haven, Ryleigh and Colton; his brothers, Cecil (Arlene) McLellan, of Dallas, TX and Norman (Pat) McLellan, of Milton; sister, Abbie Jean (Ed) Weekley, of Milton; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved so dearly. Funeral services for Mr. McLellan will be 10AM, Wednesday August 17, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Dr. David Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Hammock Cemetery with full military honors and Lewis Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6-8PM, Tuesday, August 16th. 2011 at First Baptist Church in Milton. Active pallbearers will be Charles Scott, David Winkles, Larry Burke, Mark Weekley, Max Williams and Bill Farrington. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult II Men's Sunday School Class. The family extends their sincere "Thanks" to Dr. George Antonious and his staff and to Covenant Hospice for their compassionate health delivery and care during this difficult time.
