William Pipes

William L. “Wee-Wee” Pipes, 53, of Milton, Florida, left this world to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 4, 2018. William was a native of Milton, born November 21, 1964, the Eldest child of Iris Thompson. William attended Milton High School and was the lead mechanic for Mr. Tommy Thurman until his retirement. William is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda Sampson Pipes of Port Arthur, Texas; his mother, Iris Thompson of Milton; his daughters, Amy (Joey) Pipes, Amanda (Jimmy) Dyes, Mary (Thomas) Gaillard; and his son, Wayne (Shannon)Pipes. William is also survived by his sister, Samantha Johnson; brother, Donald (Angie) Thompson; his grandchildren, Chrisha Pipes, Jesse Dyess, Austin Broadhead and Jazlyn Smith; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Brother Frankie Godsey officiating. Burial will follow services in Crain Cemetery, Milton, with Lewis Funeral Home directing. James Martin, Thomas Howze, Robert Kruger, Steve Jackson, Donald Thompson and Frankie Archer will serve as pallbearers.
