Yves Dufort

Yves Dufort, 45, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, died July 15, 2016, at his Gulf Breeze home. Yves was born on December 3, 1970, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Berenette Lamadieu and Joseph Dufort. At a young age he and his mother immigrated to the United States. They settled in Queens, New York, close to family, and he became a US citizen. He attended Newtown High School in Queens, completed his undergraduate studies in Accounting at Fordham University in the Bronx, and Monroe College in New York City. He later went on to complete his Masters of Business Administration with Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He loved spending time with his family, watching movies, playing golf and visiting the ocean. He is survived by his wife, Angie Dufort; his children, Addison Dufort, Sonya and Keren Rodriguez, Joshua Hernandez Dufort; his mother, Berenette Lamadieu; his in-laws, Rodger and Jolan Young; several aunts; multiple cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., prior to the service. Arrangements and services will be at Lewis Funeral Home In Navarre, Florida. Lodging accommodations can be made at Hampton Inn, 850-939-4848 (reference Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre). A memorial fund is being established for donations in lieu of flowers.
