Franklin “Frank” Charles Johnson, 49, of Pensacola/Milton, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Frank was a native and lifelong resident of the Pensacola area. He owned and operated his own landscaping business in Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties and he was also a Commercial shrimp boat fisherman. Frank took great pride in his work and in serving his customers. He loved to read, and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Miami Hurricane Fan. Frank is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and namesake, Frank C. Johnson; as well as, his paternal grandmother and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his parents, David and Jean Johnson, of Milton; his sister, Cindy (Dan) Lozier, of Panama City, Florida; and a number of nieces, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at the Lewis Funeral Home Pace Chapel (4777 West Spencerfield Road, Pace, Florida 32571). There will be a time for family and friends to gather beginning at 1:00 p.m., prior to services. Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel is in entrusted with arrangements.
