Joel was brought into the world on December 27th, 1950 by his parents Raymond and Joyzelle Gilmore. Joel loved Blackwater river and was known as Captain of The Swampbox. Joel loved the outdoors, he had an infectious smile and a heart of gold. Joel was a master carpenter he could build and fix anything. Joel lost his battle with cancer and went to be with the lord on December 22nd, 2016. Joel was preceded in death by his father Raymond Gilmore. Joel leaves behind his loving wife Wanda, His children - Jonathan (Laura), Jason (April), Celia Caranci (Tyler). His Grandchildren Michael, Nathan, Joey, Shelby, and Austin. His mother Joyzelle, Sister - Cheryl Smith (Ronnie), Brothers - Gary (Lori), Mark (Angie). His sister-n-laws Sandi and Brenda (Larry). Joel will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family kindly request donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Joel Gilmore we will see you on the river.
