Aaron Jordan “Gummi” Moore, 40, of Melrose passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Gainesville and was a lifelong resident of Melrose. Aaron had worked as a boilermaker and was also a musician. He attended Lake Area Bible Church. He is survived by his daughter, Emylee Donna Moore, parents, Joe and Donna Moore, brother, Travis Ian Moore, sister, Michelle Suzanne Moore, girlfriend, Jill Marie Gardner and her son Nick Gardner, aunts and uncles, Jean Jordan Herd, William Ernie and Suzie Moore, Marvin “Butch” and Cecile Boos, nieces and nephews, Adrien Purdy, Ginger Mae Moore, Zaida Rose Purdy, Ila Jordan Moore and Ava Josephine Moore. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Lake Area Bible Church in Keystone Heights with Bro. Danny Smartt officiating. Private burial will follow in Eliam Cemetery in Melrose. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka.
