Billye K. Orand, 73, of Palatka, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Teague, Texas, she resided in Putnam County for the past 5 years coming from South Carolina. Billye had worked as a secretary with a Utilities Company in Texas. She was a Baptist. Billye loved flowers and also enjoyed scenic trips and traveling in the Mountains. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Orand of Palatka, a son, Michael Orand of Palatka, a sister, Joan Grounds of Fairfield, TX and 2 grandchildren, J.T. Orand and Miranda Orand of Tallahassee. No services are scheduled at this time.
