Brenda Gail Eshbaugh, 69, of Palatka, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at her sister’s home in Marion, North Carolina. Born in Waynesville, NC, she resided in Palatka for the past 50 years coming from Waynesville. Gail worked 28 years as a data clerk with the Putnam County School System. She had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Gail enjoyed collecting jewelry and loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Davis Everleth and father Robert Everleth and a brother, Kenny Gaddis, and brother-in-law, Ray Corey..

Gail is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ray Eshbaugh of Palatka, her natural father, Ken Gaddis, (who subsequently passed away Thursday), her step-mother, Madge Gaddis of Waynesville, a daughter, Sheila Williams (Shawn) of Satsuma, a son, Kent Hinton (Glenda) of Palatka, her step-children, Janet McGee of Albany, GA, Ryan Eshbaugh of Leesburg, Chad Eshbaugh (Claudia) and Emily Hatak (Nazariy), all of Los Angeles, CA, 3 sisters, Karen Dwyer (Lanny) of Palatka, Joni McDonald of Palatka and Susan Holland (Wayne) of Waynesville, NC, 9 grandchildren, Michael Williams (Madison), Matthew Hinton, Ella Eshbaugh, Crane Eshbaugh, Dylan McGee, Katelyn Lee, Lance Lee, Rosie Hinton and Vitaliy Hatak, sisters-in-law, Tammy Gaddis of Marion, NC, and Diane Boyd (Martin) of Leesburg, brother-in-law, Rob Eshbaugh of Umatilla and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services celebrating Gail’s life will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday, October 21, 2019 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Tim Corey officiating. Burial will follow at Palatka Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services at 3:00 P.M.
