DOROTHY E. PURSIFULL Dorothy E. “Dottie” Pursifull, 73, of Interlachen, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at her home following an extended illness. A native of Camden, New Jersey, she resided in Interlachen for the past 16 years coming from Miramar, FL. “Dottie” worked 27 years as a teacher’s aid with the Broward County School System. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Miramar and enjoyed crafts and games on the computer She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas O. Pursifull, and 2 sisters, Barbara and Betty. She is survived by her husband, Drexel Pursifull, a son, Steven Kelly of Spring Hill, 3 daughters, Carol Snover of Interlachen, Donna Pursifull of Lake Worth and Teryle Pursifull of Nerang, Australia, a brother, George Shoemaker and wife Maryann of Dagsboro, DE, a sister, Mary Moretto of Interlachen, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Nature Coast, 6721 Crill Ave., Palatka, FL 32177.
