Dennis Crosby December 23, 1970 – November 5, 2019 Dennis Crosby, 48, of Seminole, AL, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 5, 2019 after battling cancer for over two years. Dennis was born December 23, 1970, in Pensacola, FL. A graduate of Pine Forest High School, he proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for 14 years. After serving his country, Dennis returned to Pensacola to work with his family at GSI Recycling, Inc. Dennis took pride in being a part of the family business and enjoyed working daily with his Father, Brothers, Uncle, and Cousins. Dennis was a selfless man that spent most of his time thinking of ways to make others smile. He hosted many celebrations with family and friends at his home and was always the life of the party. He is survived by his loving wife, Whitney Brown-Crosby; daughter, Alisha Frasch; brothers, Eddie (Valerie) Crosby, and Matt (Kristi) Crosby; mother, Sandra Crosby; grandmother, Edith Jones Crosby. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Elmer “Russ” Crosby and his grandfather, Elmer Crosby. Pastor, Jim Harris will be officiating a Celebration of Life to be held on November 21, 2019, at 4:00 pm Sanders Beach Community Center, 913 S I Street, Pensacola, FL 32502. Fellowship and visitation will follow after his service. Per Dennis’s personal request: Casual attire only! The immediate family would like to give a special thanks to all friends, family, and medical staff who were instrumental in providing love, support and care during his journey. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude’s mission is to treat and cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening pediatric diseases.
