Shelbie Sellers Obituary

Shelbie H. Sellers 1992 - 2020 Shelbie Hope Sellers, 27, of Pensacola, FL passed away on January 18, 2020. She was born on October 10, 1992 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to her mother, Trudi Hope Johnson, daddio, Timothy D. Johnson Sr., and her father, Richard Edward Sellers. Shelbie was a student at Pleasant Grove and at Bagdad Elementary School, during these years she enjoyed going to church camp. Her middle school years were at Avalon, where she played the clarinet and at Jim Bailey. Shelbie graduated from Washington High School class of 2011. She had dreams of Culinary School. Early in her adulthood she focused on getting her diploma and working at Cordova Lanes. Working at Cordova Lanes gave her the hunger and the desire to learn Mixology. With all the bad in the world, she knew there was good out there too. She’s always said that she wanted to travel. Well in her last months of life, she was able to see things. She only dreamed about becoming a pilot driver, it was something she felt strongly about. I believe my daughter lived every adventure to the fullest. I wish you would have been able to finish the adventure. Shelbie is preceded in death by her father, Richard Sellers; her grandfather, Rodney Hope Johnson Sr.; grandmother, Patsy Lowry; great- grandparents, Trudy and Bill Jamison; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Bennet; great aunts, Ann and Patty; great uncle, Russell; cousin, Scotty, Kenny, and Larry; and Granny Jane. She is survived by her daughter, Ariah Hope Sellers; brothers, Patrick Sellers, Timothy Johnson Jr. "TJ", Rodney D. Johnson, Robin Gaskin, and Alex Wilson; parents, Trudi and Tim Johnson Sr. "Daddio"; nephews, Lian, Silas, and Kayden Sellers; sister in laws, Delia and Brittany; grandmothers, Debbie Hurd and Sandra Davis; grandparents, Bob and Nita Johnson; uncles, Rodney Johnson, Gregory Allen, Ben Johnson, and John Lowery; aunts, Amanda Collier, Carol Anthony, Tammy Carol Johnson, Nicole and Tiffany, Renee Andrews, Cora Hammac, Amber Wason, Shannon and Brian Lee, Michelle and Lance Holston; cousins, Lacy, Berry, Trisha and Sonja; and so many more family and friends. Special acknowledgements to the guys I knew that had my daughter’s back in any situation, Andrew, Lee, Jordan, Chris, and Travis. A memorial service will be held on Sunday January 26, 2020, at Trahan Family Funeral Home. Her visitation will begin at 3:00, with the service following at 4:00.
