Georgie I. Green, 95, of Paisley, FL passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 and has gone to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Hartsville, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastland Baptist Church in Orlando, FL. She is predeceased by her husband: Elster “Woody” Green; and son: Charles E. Green. Survivors include daughters: Shirley Scoby of Paisley, FL, Nelda (Robert) Jenkins of Paisley, FL, and Janice (Ron) Newby of Orlando, FL; son: Rondal Green of Paisley, FL; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister: Mary Guffrey of Eustis, FL; brothers: Jimmy Jenkins of Eustis, FL and Kendal Jenkins of Phoenix, AZ. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beyers Funeral Home chapel in Umatilla, FL with Pastor Ron Newby officiating. Interment will be at the Ponceannah Cemetery in Paisley, FL. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
