Janette Darlene Jenkins, 78, also known as Dolly formerly of Plain City, Ohio passed away June 29th, 2017 at her residence in Altoona, Florida, after a fierce 10 year fight against cancer. She will always and forever be remembered for her beautiful smile because she always had one for you or the way the light danced in her brown eyes when she gave you that smile. Her sweet personality and sense of humor and the unconditional love she gave to her friends and family. Or the sweet sound of her singing and playing her organ and guitar. But most will remember her by her pink cane. She is preceded in death by her mother Leola Wilcox (Spears) and her father Anderson North, husband Ernest Jenkins, brothers Roger North, Bill North, Don North, sister Ardana (North) Prater and former husband/father of children Arthur Crissinger. She is survived by sisters Maxine (Fairchild) Phillips, Marie (Weetsie) Claybough, and Peggy Howard. She is leaving behind 5 children, Danny Crissinger, Ohio, Randy Crissinger, Wayne Crissinger, Chris Crissinger, Julie (Keith) Brittian of Altoona, Florida. Five grandchildren, Danielle Romeo, Nathan Crissinger, Jennifer Smith, Jeanette Crissinger, Denver Brittian and numerous great grandchildren. May she finally have peace.
