Jimmy F. West, 71, of Astor, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was born in Plant City, FL. He was a superintendent in construction and enjoyed carpentry, woodworking and fishing. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Episcopalian faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years: Mary West, Astor, FL; sons: Brian West, Plant City, FL, David West, Tampa, FL, Russell Boyens, Lakeland, FL, Matt Boyens, Bowling Green, KY; daughter: Laura Boyens, New York City, NY; sisters: Pauline Mount, Dorothy Paul, Irene Dykes, Maxcine Weaver, Barbara McLellan, Betty Miley, Janette Walden; brothers: Roscoe West, Brian (Jennifer) West, David (Erin) West, Russ (Terri) West, Matt (April) West; and 11 grandchildren.
