Michael H. Fish, 54, of Eustis, Florida passed away in his home on Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born in Ticonderoga, New York on May 5, 1962 to his parents Herman and Florence Fish. He was a carpenter for Picerne Development. He was a semi-pro fisherman, an avid hunter, and a master craftsman builder. He loved music and played bass guitar. He was a Nascar fan and his favorite driver was Tony Stewart and he was a PBR fan. He was a believer in Jesus Christ. Mike was a peaceful, loving, compassionate, caring, giving, strong man. As a little boy Mike always wanted to ride his horse Dusty all around the Adirondack Mountains. Mike was a loving and loyal husband of 32 years to his soul mate and best friend Melissa. He was a devoted father and provider to his son Michael; he loved his mother and family with a love beyond any in this world. Mike loved to be around people, always lending a helping hand. Mike especially loved spending time with his wife and his son. He had a powerful impact on all those he came in contact with. He is survived by his loving wife: Melissa J. Fish; son: Michael C. Fish; mother: Florence R. Fish; mother in law: Peggy Phebues; siblings: Debi Fitch, Gwyn Picerne, Dee Gaetano, Cathy Daly, and Chris Fish; 4 brother in laws; 2 uncles; 4 aunts; 32 nephews and nieces. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Beyers Funeral Home chapel in Umatilla, FL with Pastor Alden Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The internment will follow the service at the Umatilla Cemetery Annex.
