Russell James Moyer, 77, of Astor passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. He was born in Kutztown, PA. He was a master chief in the US Navy. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served for over 30 years. He was a member of the VFW Post in Astor, FL, a member of the Astor Community Association, a member of the Fleet Reserve, and enjoyed fishing and sports. He is survived by his loving wife since 1994: Nancy L. Moyer; 3 sons: Bryan (Cheryl) Moyer, Scott (Joan) Moyer, and Brett (Julie) Moyer; step-son: Gregory S. Watson; daughter: Debra Moyer; brothers: Lester and Paul Moyer; sister: Cindy Cramer; and 10 grandchildren.
