Jourdan Taylor

Mr. Jourdan Lee “Jerry/Tater” Taylor, 58, of Albany, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services honoring his life will be conducted at Riverside Cemetery on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate. Mr. Taylor was born on June 16, 1958 in Moultrie to the late Robert and Ruby Agnes Terrell Taylor. He worked as an electrician for many years, enjoyed fishing and spending time on the river. He loved his children and tried to be a good influence to each of them. In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Hamm Taylor and his sister, Joyce Hall. Survivors include his son, Jarrod Taylor of Albany; daughters, Laura and Andrea Taylor both of Albany; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Tina Whitfield of Doerun and 7 grandchildren.
